I’m Okpe Jessica, a Registered Nurse born on March 12th. I am passionate about providing exceptional care and making a difference in people’s lives. Outside of work, I find joy in reading, writing, traveling, and building meaningful connections. My mission is to combine empathy and expertise to inspire hope and healing in every encounter. Participating in the Yemipoet December competition was an inspiring experience that allowed me to share my passion for writing among 200 talented contestants. Winning was an unexpected and humbling honor that I will always cherish.

I'm grateful for always being a part of the contest because it expands my creativity and exercises my brain. I'm hoping to win one of the contests soon.

The Yemipoet contest is something I look forward to. Not primarily because there's a prize but because it allows me to create art. Every month comes with a thrilling challenge. Something that I won't on my own think of writing. It's a growth catalyst!

Hi, My Name Are Adetola Blessing Adesida, I was opportune to participate in the Yemi Poet September 2024 Edition (On Anger Lies in the Blossom of a Fool). It was a challenge to me knowing fully well that I wasn't an Art student and haven't done such before but I was eager to participate in the competition even though I wasn't thinking of Winning. I overcame this challenge by learning more about poetry and I was able to Write mine and emerge as the second winner for the Edition. I appreciate Yemi Poet for this wonderful insight and I pray it will continue to grow more and more in Jesus name(Amen)
